Roger Knoph

Chief Executive Officer

Roger Knoph incorporated EnviroTech Services, Inc. in 1989 to fill a need for a more environmentally- friendly dust control for unpaved roads. As time progressed, the goal became to expand its product line to include winter de-icing and the treatment of unpaved roads to reduce maintenance. While continuing to develop the company, a focus was put on building infrastructure and facilities across multiple regions of the US that would enable the movement of high volumes of product to our customers when they need it. Striving to be an industry leader, a Research & Development department was created to develop new products along with working closely with our partners in the industry.
He has served on local Boards in our communities to support local organizations, including The Boys & Girls Clubs of Weld County, Upstate Colorado Economic Development, Employers Council and UMB Bank Colorado Region. He was recognized in 2006 with the Bravo Award for Entrepreneur of the Year by Northern Colorado Business Report.

Roger is a native Coloradoan born in Greeley and raised in Weld County. He attended Aims Community College and UNC taking classes in Business Management, Accounting and Chemistry. In 2009, Roger graduated from a three-year Executive Education program at Harvard University. He has been married to his wife Jamie for over 30 years and they have two children and one grandchild who all reside in Colorado. His interests are family, business, golf and travel.

Kevin Whyrick

Chief Financial Officer

Kevin Whyrick joined EnviroTech Services, Inc in 1996 shortly after graduating from college.

Kevin has over two decades of experience in Corporate Financial Leadership, Budget Development, Financial Risk Management, Revenue Growth, Corporate Structure, Financial Planning & Analysis, And Reporting and Forecasting in multiple roles with EnviroTech Services Inc.

He has served on multiple boards of directors, including as a current board member for EnviroTech Services, and served six years as Treasurer, Vice President and President for The Greeley Transitional House—a non-profit organization that supports homeless families in Northern Colorado. As an accomplished athlete, he enjoys opportunities to mentor young athletes in the community in Track & Field. Kevin was recognized as the CFO of the year in 2012, by the Northern Colorado Business Report.

Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics & Statistics from Colorado State University. He has completed executive MBA sessions at Wharton and Kellogg in Mergers and Acquisitions training as well as the strategic role of the CFO.

Steve Bytnar


Steve Bytnar joined the EnviroTech team in 2002 having worked as a chemist in the fields of deicing and dust control.

In 2008, Steve and EnviroTech were profiled on the front page of the Wall Street Journal for their forward thinking and focus on performance and the environment when developing new deicing products. This focus has resulted in multiple patents in the fields of highway deicing and dust control/stabilization of unimproved gravel roads. Steve leads the Research & Quality team. He is actively involved in the community on various non-profit and community service boards. Steve graduated from Dakota State University with a Bachelors of Biology for Information Systems and has attended various executive education courses at Harvard.
