Monthly Fuel Surcharge. As in the past, we will continue to pay a fuel surcharge to help offset the impact of the increase in diesel fuel prices when the U.S. National Average Diesel Fuel Index remains at least $1.10 per gallon. The FSC will be determined based on the day the load is dispatched and the Region/Origination point, not the destination. The FSC needs to be shown as a separate line item on your invoice.
The surcharge will be subject to monthly adjustments based on a review of the U.S. National Diesel Fuel index the first Monday prior to or on the 1st day of the month, if the 1st falls on Monday, and will remain at that percent for the entire month.
